ABOUT ME

My real name is Jennifer Louise, and I am a beauty blogger/student living in the United Kingdom. I have read lots of 'About Me' pages on various blogs that I love to read, but I really have no idea what to write on mine! My life is not super interesting, so I thought that I would answer a bunch of random questions and let you know me better. Here I go;

RANDOM
What's your favorite dessert?
I have no idea! Not a good start, I know. I really like those strawberry pencils, so probably those.
What time did you wake up this morning?
Around 7am- I am an early riser.
How would you describe yourself?
Bookish with much too frizzy hair and a penchant for beauty products!
What's your ringtone?
Shakira, Gypsy! This song makes me pick up my phone ten times faster in a public place, the intro is quite embarassing sometimes! I love it anyways.
Have you ever been to a different country?
Yeah, I have been really lucky with foreign travel, I have been to lots of interesting places, but Florida and Paris have definitely been the best! I would love to go to New York at Christmas.
How many siblings do you have?
I have two sisters, one older and one younger. Being the middle child sucks.
What is your perfect pizza topping?
Margerita with sweetcorn. Sweetcorn is a very underestimated food.
Which do you prefer-hamburgers or cheeseburgers?
I am currently a vegetarian  something that started as a personal challenge, and kind of escalated. I do like cheeseburgers better, though.
What is your eye color?
Blue. Navy around my pupil and light blue/gray nearer the edge.
Do you have any pets?
No, but my sisters do. They both have a cat, but I didn't want one-I sued to have a cat(when I was really young), but I was a bit scared of it!
Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke?
Actually, yes. I really hate full fat Coke because I can feel the sugar on my teeth, so I always order Diet Coke, and Pepsi Max.

BEAUTY
Do you wear contacts or glasses?
No, apparently I have 20/20 vision. I do, however, experience eye irritation a lot.
Do you color your hair?
No, I tried colouring it once, but it made no real difference as the dye was the very similar to my natural hair colour. When my older sister went to Reading Festival this year, we both dip dyed the ends of our hair hot pink!
What is your favourite nail polish?
Valentine, by Revlon. It is such a gorgeous deep red colour!
Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
Yes, I have consulted a doctor about this, and she has said that I have mild acne. I take daily tablets, and I hope that it is something that I can grow out of.
What brand of mascara do you use?
What is your favorite lipstick?
Wow- there are so many! I really like candy/blush pink colours. My favourite lipstick is probably Sally Hansen
If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
I would say mascara. your whole face looks better with mascara on.
Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yes, absolutely. I often go out sans make-up, but I do feel a bit better with a bit of it on!
One hair product that you can't live without?
Besides the obvious(hairbrush), I would have to say my GHD straighteners. I have the classic Gold IV styler, and they have been my trusty friend for about four years now- love them!
What is your natural hair colour/type?
When I was young, my hair was naturally a bleached blonde colour, but as I grew older, it darkened. Now I have dark blonde/ golden hair. My hair is naturally curly and frizzy, and it hangs until just under my shoulder blades(at the back.

BOOKS AND MOVIES
What is your favourite book?
It has to be Divergent by Veronica Roth. this books was so well written and unpredictable; I loved it!
What movie can you watch on repeat and laugh at every time?
Definitely Cheaper by the Dozen 2- I literally cry with laughter every single time I watch this movie, even though I know when all of the funny stuff is coming up!
Favourite Christmas movie?
Love Actually- this movie is so Christmassy, so sad, and so happy all at the same time!
Twilight or Harry Potter(books)?
I like both, but for different reasons. However, if I was forced to choose, I would say Harry Potter, just because I love the idea of a magic school, and I feel like I should support an English writer, rather than an American.
Books or movies?
Books. Hands down.
What book would make an amazing film?
Any of Meg Cabot's books would make awesome films, but I think that they are a bit short to produce a feature length film.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but what is the prettiest book that you own?
Shopaholic in Manhattan is a gorgeous book, and it's my favourite colour too(lilac)!
What is your least favourite book?
Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. I freaking hated that book!
What movie do you cry at every time you watch it?
I know that this is cliche, but I totally bawl my eyes out at Titanic every single time I watch it!

There you have it! Now you know tonnes of stuff all about moi! Haha
